Touchless Curbside Procedure

  1. Place items on hold.
  2. We will notify you when the items are available for pick-up.
  3. Visit the location where items are held and park in a designated space. Use the drive-through at Hebron. Please bring your library card with you.
  4. Call 859-342-2665, choose your location in the menu, and tell us you arrived.
  5. We will check-out your items and place them in your trunk.

Buy the Book
Our new book sale room, Buy the Book, is open and located on the 1st floor of Main Library. So browse the books, magazines, and videos whenever the Library is open!
Books in other languages
Main Library, Scheben, and Florence Branches have books and audiobooks for children and adults in Spanish, and some in Japanese.
Computer Printing
Black and white prints cost $0.25 per page. Color prints cost $0.50 per page. You may also save to personal flash drives. The Library sells 16 GB flash drives at all branches for $5.00.
Copiers
Black and white copies cost $0.25 per page. Color copies cost $0.50 per page. You may scan to email free of charge.
Driver's License Renewal
Renew your Kentucky Driver's License online, by mail, or in person at a Regional Office. Print the form to renew by mail.
Faxing
Faxing is available at every BCPL location.
Internet Access
Internet access and public Wi-Fi are available. Please review the Library's Internet Use policy.
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office Standard Edition is available on public computers. Staff support is limited.
Meeting and Study Rooms
Meeting and Study Rooms are available for reservation.
Notary Public
Subject to staff availability, the Library offers notary service free of charge at each branch except Chapin Memorial. Call or visit the branch near you to schedule an appointment with a notary. However, the Library notaries reserve the right to refuse notarizing documents for ANY reason.
  1. Bring the completed but unsigned legal document to your appointment.
  2. All documents must be in English.
  3. Everyone who signs must bring valid ID, which includes:
    • State-issued driver's licenses and ID cards
    • Military IDs
    • Passports
  4. Witnesses may not be solicited among Library patrons or staff.
