The Boone County Public Library Foundation, officially established in Summer 2022, is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Contributions to The Foundation will enhance and support our mission statement (Discover. Explore. Experience. A Lifetime of Learning.) beyond the means of public funding. The Foundation and the Library will work together, in a strong partnership, to determine where private funds can be leveraged to have the greatest impact.
All donations are tax deductible. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to the donor.
The Imagination Library sends a free book to every child in Boone County, ages birth to 5 years, to help support kindergarten readiness.
The nationally recognized Archive & History Center researches a wide variety of regional history topics.
Capital projects planned for the next 20 years are aimed to meet the needs of the community for years to come.
