The Boone Innovation Lab (BIL) is a place to create, learn, and preserve memories.

BIL Locations

Lab Rules

You must have a Boone County Public Library card in good standing. Please verify that your library card has not expired before reserving equipment. Expired Cards, Juvenile Cards,Temporary Cards, Digital Only Cards, and Student Digital Access Cards may not reserve Innovation Lab equipment.
You must sign a waiver to use lab equipment. Parents must sign with minors under 18.
A parent or adult guardian must accompany all children 12 years of age and younger when using the lab. Parent or guardian cannot work on a separate BIL project during a child's appointment.
Boone County Public Library reserves the right to close the BIL on short notice. Always call in advance to make certain the Lab is open.
All reservations are subject to approval.

In our Boone Innovation Labs at the Main Library in Burlington and the Hebron Branch, you can bring your ideas to life with our 3D printers! 3D printers melt plastic filament, and then layer by layer builds an item from a computer file.
