Request for Proposals - Chapin Memorial Library and Community Consultant

Boone County Public Library seeks proposals from qualified consultants to collect and assess data for the Chapin Memorial Library and Chapin Community. The successful bidder will be contracted directly with the Library. Preference for Kentucky bidders/proposals will be applied in accordance with Kentucky law. Bids are due to the Boone County Public Library – Main Library @1786 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005 on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM EST.

Summer Reading

All Ages | June 1 to July 31

Participants can earn prizes as they log their activities. The more they log, the more chances they have to win a grand prize. All printed logs should be returned to the library or entered in the Beanstack Tracker App by July 31. Participants are encouraged to complete the Summer Reading Survey!

Printable logs will be available during the Summer Reading Challenge.

Winter Reading

All Ages | January 1 to 31

Start the new year with a reading challenge! For every activity or book logged, earn an entry into prize drawings. Mark completed activities and track reading on the back of the page. Maximum of 30 entries.

Prizes include: A BCPL beanie and a gift card to Amazon or Kroger.

Beanstack

Beanstack is a website and mobile app that allows users to track their reading throughout the year. Participants can earn badges to celebrate reading milestones and use their Beanstack accounts to join library-sponsored reading challenges.

Creating an account is simple. Individuals can sign up on their own, or families can register together. To get started, users can visit the library's Beanstack site.

Tracking progress has never been easier with the Beanstack Tracker app. Users can download the app to their iOS or Android devices and track their progress on the go.
