What is InterLibrary Loan (ILL)?
If BCPL does not own a title and is unable to purchase it for any reason, an attempt to borrow it from another library system can be made. This is a process known as InterLibrary Loan (ILL).
For items published within the past year or those that have not yet been published, customers are encouraged to recommend a purchase.
Questions? Contact ILL at 859-342-2665, x8118.
Please note: While BCPL can request items from other library systems, it is the decision of those libraries whether they lend out their materials.
