CAP is a centralized intake system for families and individuals who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Intake Specialists screen callers based on their immediacy of need and make appropriate referrals into a partner agency's program. Be prepared for a wait time. Due to high need, Greater Cincinnati shelters are frequently full.
The only way to get into a CAP shelter is through the hotline: 513-381-SAFE (7233). CAP accepts calls Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
